Mad Hatter Mini Album Class Designed by Stacey $49.00+taxes Step into the whimsical world of Wonderland in this hands-on, creative class where you'll design your very own mini book using Graphic 45 and Simply Stated releases. Perfect for beginners and bookbinding enthusiasts alike, this class will guide you through the process of crafting a charming 6x6 chipboard traveller-style mini book of Alice’s journey. You will learn to create your own mini book using chipboard, cardstock and traveller-style notebook binding, all while exploring the colorful characters and settings of Wonderland. We will utilize Graphic 45 Curiouser & Curiouser pattern paper and a variety of ephemera from the incredible Simply Stated Mad Hatter Tea Party Collection to create dimensional pages to showcase your memories . By the end of the class, you'll have a beautiful, handmade mini book to take home —perfect for gifting, collecting, or simply enjoying a piece of Wonderland in your hands! Once you complete one mini book—you will see how versatile these mini books can be and perfect for any theme or occasion! Supplies needed for class: black paint (or black gesso will work), exacto knife/metal ruler or trimmer that will cut chipboard, Metallic Distress Crayon (I used Antique Bronze) or similar product, if desired. A New Year, and Ode to last year! This months Mixed Media has a focus on pattern paper, and how we can incorporate it as layers upon layers and journal with an artistic flow and grungy feel. We'll be using SCRUPTIOUS 12x12 and 8.5 x 11 pattern paper from Simply Stated and arrange two side by side journal pages that have loads of space for our thoughts and journaling to add by incorporating flips and folds, lots of secret places to write or to add photos and ephemera but still obtain a private yet grungy presentation. We'll be using some great ephemera and diecuts from AALL and Create as well as Elizabeth Crafts Designs which will be provided in your kit. If you are on the fence about mixed media, come join Jo and dive into a realm of artistic freedom, and sharpen your skills as you walk through a step by step session of mixed media madness! Participating in the class will require some supplies that are not included in the kit and a detailed list will be provided - some of the items needed will be- distress opaque texture paste, a circular patterned stencil (I'll be using Hero Arts Swirling stars stencil), Gold wax- (I'll be using Prima white gold wax) Distress Ground Espresso ink (regular or oxide) and a black ink (I'll be using Versaclaire nocturne) Students are encouraged to use what you have but if you need to purchase any of these items they will be available to order through the class google doc. which will be sent to you via email once you've completed registration.

Maker Mania #11 Your kit is valued at $200 Join us on February 28th-March 2nd, 2025 for this one of a kind VIRTUAL event weekend! We will take you on an amazing journey as we travel around the United States and Canada in a private Facebook group-- featuring an amazing group of 15 independent craft stores that are part of Crafters Home. During this weekend event, you can sit back and watch as each store takes turns sharing crafting ideas for cardmakers, scrapbookers, papercrafters, mixed media and more. This is the 11th event of its kind and each one gets better and bigger so you don’t want to miss out! Space is limited, so don’t delay your registration. Your Maker Mania event access includes demos from each participating store (with written step by step instructions and photos uploaded to the group after each demo) and your VIP access to our private Maker Mania Facebook Group, where all the action will take place.
