Mixed Media Madness 2.0

Grab an Art Journal and lets get creative! Let your imagination flow and go and join Jo in the fun session featuring the AMAZING Uniquely Creative Steampunk Graffiti papers and creative cuts! Your kit will include a background stencil as well as 16 gorgeous 6×6 papers with an amazing selection of diecut images to match perfectly! This class will focus on the building of texture on two different journal pages using a multitude of ways to create texture, layer and achieve a fluidity of combined textures using many mediums together. This session will also show you how we can take common paper crafting supplies and easily bring them into a mixed media project successfully! You will have lots of goodies left over from your kit so an EXTRA demo video will be added to the class group to show you some extra background inspiration and some ideas! Weather your are a novice or a beginner this class will be a gateway to adding skills and confidence to your repertoire of mixed media art!
This class is offered as a live virtual class, allowing you to participate and interact if needed as well as ask questions and follow along safely from the comfort of your home. When the video is uploaded after the live session you can return to watch over and over again. You can enjoy the class live or on demand at a time of your convenience.

Participating in the class will require some supplies that are not included in the kit and a detailed list will be provided – some of the items needed will be- Distress Spritz sprays- Peacock Feathers, Fossilized Amber and Warm Lipstick,. Also needed: matt multi-medium, distress opaque texture paste, black and white acrylic paint, clear gesso and some gold embossing powder. Students are encouraged to use what you have but if you need to purchase any of these items they will be available to order through the class google doc. which will be sent to you via email once you’ve completed registration.
