Mixed Media Madness 3.0

A New Year, and Ode to last year! This months Mixed Media has a focus on pattern paper, and how we can incorporate it as layers upon layers and journal with an artistic flow and grungy feel. We’ll be using SCRUPTIOUS 12×12 and 8.5 x 11 pattern paper from Simply Stated and arrange two side by side journal pages that have loads of space for our thoughts and journaling to add by incorporating flips and folds, lots of secret places to write or to add photos and ephemera but still obtain a private yet grungy presentation. We’ll be using some great ephemera and diecuts from AALL and Create as well as Elizabeth Crafts Designs which will be provided in your kit. This class is offered as a live virtual class, allowing you to participate and interact if needed as well as ask questions and follow along safely from the comfort of your home. When the video is uploaded after the live session you can return to watch over and over again. You can enjoy the class live or on demand at a time of your convenience.

Participating in the class will require some supplies that are not included in the kit and a detailed list will be provided – some of the items needed will be- distress opaque texture paste, a circular patterned stencil (I’ll be using Hero Arts Swirling stars stencil), Gold wax- (I’ll be using Prima white gold wax) Distress Ground Espresso ink (regular or oxide) and a black ink (I’ll be using Versaclaire nocturne) Students are encouraged to use what you have but if you need to purchase any of these items they will be available to order through the class google doc. which will be sent to you via email once you’ve completed registration.
