Are you ready for a flood of techniques and neat ideas?! Gel plates are such a fantastic tool to bring out all the creative juices! In this workshop, the focus will be on Distress Oxide inks on the gel plate. Along with this versatile medium we will pair it up with stencils, embossing folders, die-cuts, pastes and paint and other interesting items from around the house to create some amazing prints! Your class kit will include some black and white shimmer paint, all the die-cuts and layers for 5 complete simple card projects and enough paper to do 20 prints form your gel plate. This will be a live virtual class designed to teach you safely in the comfort of your home where you can watch live, or at a later date after it’s been recorded. Need some inspiration? Supplies Used: Oxide inks used during class- students are encouraged to have at least 4 colours.
To have a variety of results you are welcome to have more or use different shades.
Colours used on samples: Rustic Wilderness (green), Villainous Potion (purple), Prize Ribbon (blue), Ground Espresso (brown)
One technique will be using Distress Texture Crackle Paste that you will need to provide.
A 5×7 gel plate will be used but not be provided with the kit.
